Thanks to the demonstrated reliability of DFM's cafeteria Point of Sale payroll deduction, more and more customers have come to DFM looking for a way to expand the payroll deduction options they provide to their employees. The result, our Point of Sale Charge Terminal.
Employees can purchase items using payroll deduction, declining balance, or credit cards. The charge terminal is able to utilize badges whether they have magnetic stripe, barcode or Prox ID readers. Patients and guest can also utilize the credit card feature allowing more revenue at all remote retail areas.
The Point of Sale Charge Terminal applies a keyboard computer with a monitor as the charge terminal “register”. A laptop or Windows based tablet device may also be used. This keeps the module easy for all staff to pick up and begin using.
Adding peripherals such as a magnetic stripe/barcode reader or a proximity reader for credit cards and employee badges creates a totally cashless operation. Complete configuration by including a network receipt printer.
